My Beautiful Family

i thank you God for most this amazing

i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky;and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun's birthday;this is the birth
day of life and love and wings:and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any-lifted from the no
of all nothing-human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?
(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)

If there is anything I want for Christmas, its to keep my three  children, Gracie Annabelle, Lillian Elise, and Ivan Dean, under my care and in my arms, healthy, and to be able to make them happy. To continue to love their father, Casey, even more than ever and to hold him each night for many years to come. These are the true gifts that God gives us. I want for nothing else.

Daddy’s new car! And the girls LOVE it. Gracie threw a fit when I said I was going to go buy groceries with it and wasn’t going to take her. So, I took her.

What?!?!??!

I couldn’t just leave her on the porch crying!!!!

Pretend Christmas Tree

Last weekend, I was sick as a dog with a stomach bug, and Casey had had to do inventory at work. So, we haven’t bought a Christmas tree yet. But the pressure is on! Nana and Poppie have a tree…and Gracie saw it…

Now we have a pretend Christmas tree built by Gracie, to remind me that we haven’t gotten a Christmas tree yet. She came to me and said “Momma, I built a Christmas tree for us! Can you take a picture???”

*Gulp* Here comes the sugary sour guilt trip years…

Gymnastics Day

Well, since the weather here has turned a little crummy at times, we had to resort to some indoor play time, so that Momma wasn’t putting to bed fully awake kids. They were so bored!

So, we get out the balance beam, extra crib mattresses and balloons, turn on some music, and just have a little fun.

Like Father, Like Daughter

Casey as a kid…

E938D535 …and Lillian.

Both like standing on couches. Well, I should say, Casey used to like standing on furniture. But after replacing a couch once, he doesn’t do that anymore.
